Note: This tutorial is for Nodekit 0.7.6 and above
Step 1: Activate image loading in the Tagtool patch. Look for the image loading comment and choose “True” in the drop-down of the node next to it.
Step 2: Copy your images into the “Images” folder of the Nodekit installation (eg. C:\Program Files\Nodekit\Images). They should be called 01.png, 02.png, 03.png and 04.png. Right now you can only load 4 different images this way. We have included 4 example images - just save yours over them.
NOTE: You can use transparency with images in the PNG format. If you don't know how to do that, you can search for tutorials on YouTube!
Step 3: Use the gamepad to load the images into your scene: press “digital cross left” + Button 1, 2, 3 or 4 (see image below). The buttons correspond to the four images saved in your “Images” folder.
NOTE: If your gamepad has a different layout, have a look here: How to configure the Gamepad
You can load as many instances of each image as you like - this makes some fun effects possible, especially when used with animation - enjoy!
