Tagtool Workshop

On February 24th, seven pupils of the Döblinger Gymnasium visited the studio Garnison7 in Vienna for a Tagtool Animation Workshop. For the whole day, they worked together to create a short video clip using the Tagtool.

After the basic possibilities of the Tagtool had been explained, the kids decided to visualize the track Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar) by the Doors. First they made a storyboard, outlining a character, the background images, the sequences, the animation and the use of live drawing. Then they set out to create the actual animations with the Tagtool. The video was then cut by the teacher of the class.

All in all the workshop was quite experimental, but the outcome is great! Here is the final clip:
