Übergänge – Přechody 09

Posted on July 5th, 2009 | By gnu | Category: Photos, Public Spaces

“Übergänge – Přechody” (German and Czech for transition) is a cultural festival in Gmünd and České Velenice, two towns across from each other at the Austrian-Czech border.

I went there with Merkus for some Tagtool sesssions – check out the pictures here.

In the afternoon we set up at “Subatasch“, a cultural club for anti-commercial art in the center of Gmünd.

In the evening we had intended to paint on a water wall made with a fountain, but unfortunately technical problems crossed our plans. Instead we drew on the trees within the beautiful palace garden of Gmünd. Despite continuous rain many people gathered and the atmosphere was great. Thanks to the guys of Speerspitze, who took care of the technical setup. Further thanks go out to Sam and Brigitte of ILD, who organized the event.
