Karl Ritter Birthday Bash

Posted on February 16th, 2010 | By gnu | Category: Live Music, Photos

On 23rd of December, guitarist and Tagtool veteran Karl Ritter celebrated his 50th birthday with a tremendous party at the Viennese jazz club Porgy & Bess.

He gathered many of his partners in crime that have accumulated over his long career – Franz Hautzinger, Otto Lechner, Willi Resetarits, … just to mention some. He was on stage for nearly five hours in various formations.

The last part of the evening was a slightly delirious performance by “Weisse Waende” with Christian Reiner (voice) and Herbert Pirker (drums), featuring iink and Maki on the Tagtool.

Here are some photos – for more, have a look at the Flickr Gallery.
