Sound:frame Opening 2010
Posted on April 10th, 2010 | By iink | Category: Party, Public Spaces, VideosIn 1713, one year after the last great plague epidemic, Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, pledged to build a church for his namesake patron saint, Charles Borromeo, who was revered as a healer for plague sufferers.
On the 26th of March 2010 – nearly 300 years later – curator Eva Fischer invited three Tagtool artists to paint the St. Charles Church (or Karlskirche, as it’s known in Vienna), to kick off the 4th Sound:frame festival for audio/visual expression in Vienna – Die.Puntigam, Keramik and Momo1030.
Here is a video of the opening show by Die.Puntigam at the Karlsplatz in Vienna.
Below there are pictures showing Keramik´s and Momo1030´s artwork – more photos of the festival can be found here.
