Tagtool MX is a project developed by Mauricio Gomez Tagtool “Maw” (@ magopo) and designed by Jim Catan (@ Chemical_burn) of Cholula hackerspaces.

It is a local proposal inserted into a global movement (hackerspaces.org) that seeks to generate alternatives to consumer culture, betting on a way to acquire knowledge, goods and services based on reciprocity, transitivity and solidarity with an open, integrated, which gives a synergy of different people doing different things.

Hackerspaces are community-operated physical places, where people can meet and work on their projects.

James “Jim” Catan: Inventor, photographer and addicted to Lego

A graduate of Chemical Engineering Processes with immense degree thesis: “Development of simulation software and atmospheric dispersion of pollutants in the subsurface three-dimensional surface generation of concentration.” Diploma in Photography Black and White in 2000 by Eastman Kodak. It takes 11 years documenting events and 24 playing with Lego robots.

Mauricio “Maw” Gomez Hackergeek, ping pongnero and lover of the tools.

Best known among friends as the Lord of the Arduino. Electronics and Computer Engineer since 2010 as a thesis by a telemetry system, using SMS, for vending machines. The term “pure inventions yours” is not foreign to him. Blog is the editor of Make: Spanish (es.makezine.com) since 2009. There are only two things that can de-stress: welding circuits and baking pies. Thirsty for developing new devices.

Ramadan is both a time of inner cleansing and of opening yourself to the community – the inside meets the outside. “SEYAHAT – A Journey” follows this path in three parts.

The ensemble DESTAN fuses musical improvisation, performative drawing and urban dance. Communication from individual action, structure out of spontaneity.

Each evening there will be live drawing performances by Frances Sander, Lennie Lee, and other artists from the studios, artist jams and also public ‘have a go’ sessions.

The ‘Hackney Wicked’ is a really big festival with lots to see and do throughout the weekend. All the galleries and artists’ studios in the area will be staging events and exhibitions, so if you are in London and want to find out more about what’s on where, check out the festival website.

Features added:

• Patch comments: Right click on an empty space in the patch area and select “Create Comment…” in order to add a comment box to the patch
• Logfile output: You can redirect the console messages to a logfile by adding the commandline option -logfile:filename (when omitting the filename, the log will be called “logfile.txt”)

Changes and bug fixes:

• SmoothMotion acceleration value now ranges from 0 to 1
• Color picker now works and has OK/Cancel buttons
• Fixed a color conversion bug in the color picker
• Fixed tablet output recording and movement of tags after loading a session
• Fixed a bug that caused strange deformations of tags when using the latest Wacom driver in Windows 7
• Added drop-down menu to the “Pen Select” and “Screenshot 2″ node

• Added comments and reordered the nodes so the ones that are most likely to be edited are in the top left
