| **Recommended baseline** | iPad 9th gen (2021) or later | Our workshop models, solid experience |
| **Best overall (price/performance)** | iPad (11th gen) or iPad Air (M2/M3) | Smooth performance, good screen size for painting, modern enough to stay supported for years |
| **Best for pro/live use** | iPad Pro 11" or 12.9" (M1 or newer) | Highest quality graphics & performance especially with External Displays, |
