Hello,

We have a new major version of Tagtool ready for beta testing — and this one is a big one! Version 1.5.0 brings significant performance improvements across the board, and a much more reliable online multiplayer experience.

**WHAT’S NEW?**

**Performance**

- Faster app startup, even when you have a lot of decks
- Deck loading is faster, especially for decks with many duplicated layers
- Duplicating and deleting groups is faster in large scenes
- Smoother animations and transformations
- Lower memory usage when working with duplicate images
- Faster layer selection, especially in large scenes
- 120 fps ProMotion support on iPad Pro

**Online Multiplayer**

- Improved large file transfers
- Sessions with 3+ participants are more stable
- Rejoining after leaving works reliably
- Animation sync improvements
- Faster duplicates

**User Interface**

- Menu reorganized — “Graphics” renamed to “Canvas”, “Canvas Format” to “Resolution”, “Output Quality” to “Anti-Aliasing”
- New Output submenu — external display selection and streaming controls in one place
- Opacity slider accuracy improved with low values
- Improved visual quality, noticable with very transparent layers
- Tapping on wrapped clones now selects the original layer
- Background color now persists across app restarts

**Stability**

- Fixed crashes and memory leaks

This beta is currently available for iPad only. Mac and Windows versions will follow soon.

You can join the beta via Apple TestFlight — it’s free and takes just a minute to set up:

1. On your iPad, open the App Store and install the TestFlight app (if you don’t have it already)
2. Open this link on your iPad: [Join the Tagtool beta - TestFlight - Apple](https://testflight.apple.com/join/T1vEQath)
3. Tap “Accept” to join the beta program
4. Install Tagtool from within the TestFlight app

Once you’re in the beta program, TestFlight will notify you automatically whenever a new beta version is available.

Please let us know how it’s working for you — your feedback is what makes these releases better!

Happy Tagtooling,
The OMAi crew
