OMAI presents: The New Tagtool

The OMAi team is happy to invite you to the launch event for the new Tagtool app, as part of Ars Electronica festival 2017! It takes place on Thursday September 7th, 6pm at Central in Linz, Austria, and entry is free. The Tagtool creators will introduce the new app, demonstrate new features and talk about the next steps for the project.

After the event, you can join us at the official opening party of Ars Electronica festival at PostCity Linz. There, our team will be part of CREATE YOUR WORLD for five days, until September 11th. We invite Tagtoolers or anyone interested in new forms of artistic expression to join us at our station, which will feature a large collaborative Tagtool installation, a micromapping playground and lots of opportunities for creative exchange. Entry will also be free.

We are incredibly excited about this big step for the Tagtool project. Hope to see you there!

Tagtool + Deep Space 8K = super high resolution fun! Here’s a blog post about last month’s workshop for kids at Ars Electronica Center. At OMAi Presents: The New Tagtool you will see for yourself!

Every Tagtool session is a journey into the unknown! When we were creating images and videos for the upcoming launch of the new Tagtool, this underwater creature manifested itself and took two of us into her hands. She didn’t tell us her name though - any guesses?

In August we took the Tagtool bike for a ride with dotdotdot, lighting up walls and corners of Vienna. The bike will come with us to the Ars Electronica Festival 2017 for spontaneous adventures. So, if you are out at night in Linz , keep your eyes open!
