Hi!
Backing up decks to use on another iPad:
- Open the Files app on your iPad.
- Go to Browse > On My iPad > Tagtool > decks. This folder holds all your saved deck items.
- Copy the entire decks folder (or the specific deck sub-folders you need) to wherever you want to back it up — another device, an external drive, or a cloud service like iCloud Drive or Dropbox. Try to avoid renaming anything while you do this, and keep the folder structure intact, otherwise the decks may not show up correctly when you try to load them again.
- On the new iPad, copy those folders into its own Tagtool > decks folder, same structure as before, and they should appear in the app.
One tip: if a deck is large, it’s worth zipping the folder before uploading to cloud storage. A slow or interrupted upload can otherwise leave you with a partial copy that won’t load properly afterward.
