Desktop Version issues

I am using the Desktop version with Moterrey on my Macbook.
My Ipad is freshly updated to 1.4.4 b5, so is the desktop App.

I am experiencing the following issues:
I can’t bring the computer to a session.
Connecting from iPad doesn’t show the computer’s session name. But the wifi Symbol with no Name

  • I seems to connect and says that I joined on both devices, but doesn’t show the content.
  • Exclamation mark appears lower left corner when interactions should happen

Connecting from desktop to iPad shows iPads name.

  • No content visible
  • Excalamtion mark appearing…

Is there a troubleshooting to this? I think I had the same issue with 1.4.3 but not before. Do I have to update OSX? Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hello,

What is your MacBook Model?
Have you checked the firewall settings? Have you allowed all incoming connections?

What is the error message when you double click the exclamation mark?

It might be the update to Apple Silicon graphics.

mat

No firewall, all incoming comnnections allowed.
Apple Silicon graphics: My iPad is a 2020 Pro so it’s not on my side.

(I had trouble findig out how to double click… haha)
It is this Error message I guess:

Exception: DllNotFoundException: libbrotli assembly: type: member:(null)

brotli.decompressBuffer (System.Byte inBuffer, System.Byte& outBuffer, System.Boolean useFooter, System.Int32 unCompressedSize) (at <07cfb538030f44158207e786a100ae99>:0)

TTTCPClient.Update () (at <4e95cabe9b464f6d8fdc2199a7a3c4ca>:0)

Brotli is a lossless data compression algorithm plugin and it´s is not initiated correctly at startup of the Tagtool Player on your MAC computer. That´s why you don´t see any drawings over the network.

What´s is your MacBook Model? Can you update to the latest MacOSX?

mat

It’s a 2016 Mac soI’m bound to Monterrey apparently.
Thank you for clarification…
Best
