Issues Tagtool SE saving and loading decks

Im having alot of issues with Tagtool SE.
Re-loading and saving - It is taking ages for a saved drawings to load from a deck. But I still have a lot of memory avaibale on ipad.

It’s not about how much storage the iPad has.
Long deck loading usually means the deck itself is very large and uses a lot of RAM memory.

Deck sizes increase when:

  • Utilizing numerous paint or eraser strokes within a single layer can consume significant resources. Consider distributing your work across multiple layers.

  • Large imported images, especially PNG files exceeding 2000 x 2000 pixels, can strain your device’s resources. It’s advisable to use PNG files at or below this size.

Re-Image sizing I saved a drawing and it shrunk it even though the canvas size is set to 3840 x 2160.
I cant work out how to resize it back to original?

You took a screenshot of the current workspace (3840 x 2160) and loaded the saved screenshot via import images back into the tagtool?

If so - the image when loaded into the session is not the original file size but always a bit smaller. Unfortunately you need to manually scale it to make it fit the entire workspace size.

Re-Importing How do I re-import decks / drawings from dropbox or icloud to ipad App seems glitchy

Generally speaking: Keep Tagtool´s decks folder free from clutter. All deckfolders are initialized during start up of the app. Use the Files App of iOS and move all unnecessary folders into a separate folder. You can move them back into “decks” folder of the app - when you need them again.
